Chapter Three of the Massachusettes Rules of the Supreme Judicial Court is amended as follows:
Rule 3:01: By striking out in Section 1 the words “Applications for Admission,” and inserting in lieu thereof the words: – Filing Requirements for Admission
Rule 3:01: By striking out subsections 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 and inserting in lieu thereof the new subsections 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 attached hereto;
Rule 3:01: By striking out the words “Boston and in such other places as the Board of Bar Examiners shall designate” in subsection 2.1 and inserting in lieu thereof the following word: – Massachusetts
Rule 3:01: By striking out the word “day” from subsection 3.1;
Rule 3:01 By striking out subsections 3.5 and 3.6;
Rule 3:01 By striking out section 6 and inserting in lieu thereof the new section 6 attached hereto.
The amendments becomes effective on July 1, 2009.
