Recent Amendments to District of New Jersey Local Rules

In addition to changing the requirements for electronic filing for attorneys on June 13, 2016, the District of New Jersey made substantial amendments to their local rules on September 30, 2016.

In part these amendments align New Jersey District local rules with the December 2015 amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.

The court has also made changes to requirements for Scheduling Orders filed after the September 30th changes.

Los Angeles Superior Court Upgrades Telephone System Upgrades with New Fax Numbers

New fax numbers are being rolled out at all courthouse locations while the Los Angeles Superior Court continues upgrading their telephone system.

Notices are being sent out 30 days before new numbers are implemented, and the court’s website will be updated as new numbers go live. During this transition you can find updated contact information on the court’s Courthouses in Los Angeles County page.

New York Supreme Courts Continue to Expand E-Filing – 2016

New York Supreme Courts continue to expand electronic filing, 2016 update.

Recent Changes

In July it became mandatory to file all commercial matters electronically in Queens. In Albany e-filing Tax Certiorari matters became mandatory in July. Kings County expanded mandatory and consensual E-Filing in March. In December of last year mandatory e-filing was expanded in Suffolk County.
