Due to the upcoming Timing and Deadline Changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure effective December 1, 2009, many more United States District Courts than usual have posted proposed revisions to their local rules.

The Western District of Texas is pleased to announce that the revised Pro Se Manual, dated April 21, 2009, has been posted.

IN RE: Proposed Revisions To Local Rules For The United States District Court - Northern District Of Georgia

The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals has proposed changes to its local rules. The court offers for public comment four categories of changes:

United States District Court for the Northern District of California posted a notice on their website concerning the recent revisions to their Local Rules.
Civil Local Rule 77-3 was effective as of February 17, 2009.
Civil Local Rule 3-2 and 5-1 were effective as of March 17, 2009 but are not implemented at this time.
